Rupee Opens 4 Paise up at 64.57 Towards Dollar

The rupee on Friday opened 4 paise up at 64.57 towards dollar as a result of selling of  foreign currency through banks and corporate.



The local currency on Thursday settled marginally lower by way of 2 paise at 64.61 against the American foreign money.


Overseas portfolio traders stood web patrons in Domestic equity markets on Thursday and acquired shares price Rs 1,046.75 crore with gross purchases and product sales at Rs 6,128.05 crore and Rs 5,081.30 crore, respectively.


In the meantime, domestic equity markets opened in green following world cues. The BSE Sensex opened 94 factors, or 0.28 per cent, up at 33,667.34, whereas the NSE Nifty opened 33.75 factors, or 0.36 per cent, up at 10,461.55
Executive bonds rose on Thursday, as buyers offered notes at document low prices, while they awaited the possible announcement of the next Federal Reserve’s Chair.

The GoI benchmark 6.79% 2027 bond yield declined to 6.86 per cent on Thursday from 6.89 per cent within the previous session.
